Hello,

I am a Ph.D. student looking for volunteers to assist with an urban ecology
study in Baltimore, Maryland which seeks to evaluate how well vacant lots
in cities support avian communities. The project entails assisting with
mist netting, point counts, and vegetation surveys. Please be aware that
these surveys occur from 6am - 10am in the morning. I will provide
transportation from University of Maryland Baltimore Campus (UMBC) to the
field sites, but housing is not available. Please respond ASAP if you are
interested. This is a great opportunity for any students, etc. who are
looking for a 1-2 day/week summer project, while also gaining valuable
hands-on learning of avian field methodologies. If you are interested,
please send a cover letter, your resume/CV, and contact information for 2
references to Christine Rega (christinerega.mail.missouri.edu).

Thank you,
