LEIGH MARINE LABORATORY VISITING FELLOWSHIPS

The newly established Institute of Marine Science of the University of
Auckland, New Zealand announces the availability of Visiting Research
Fellowships based at Leigh Marine Laboratory.

Research Fellows are entitled to self-catering accommodation in the
laboratory three-bedroom cottage overlooking New Zealand's first Marine
Reserve, laboratory bench space, and use of scuba diving, wet and dry
laboratory facilities.

Applications are accepted at any time and should comprise:

(1) a covering letter describing the proposed research outputs, facilities
required, duration and preferred dates;

(2) how the applicant envisages interacting with graduate and staff
researchers in Institute of Marine Science at the laboratory and/or city
campus, and

(3) curriculum vitae.

Visitors from overseas are especially welcome.

Facilities are available on a first-come first-served basis, so earlier
applications are made prior to a proposed visit the better. Successful
applicants will be required to organise their own travel, insurance, and
Visa (if required); and would be subject to any health and safety
requirements that may apply.
