Please join us for a webcast of the "Next Generation Climate Data Products Workshop."
July 15-19, 2013, from the National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder CO. The webcast will begin July 15th at ~10:15 (MDT) and run the duration of the workshop. Webcast link is www.fin.ucar.edu/it/mms/ml-live.htm Note, the webcast link will be available ~5 minutes prior to the start of each session, given presenter's permission. See www2.image.ucar.edu/event/ngcdp13 for the workshop program. This workshop will bring together statistical and data scientists with those modeling climate and climate impacts to share ideas on improving the creation of data products. Workshop goals: *Identify data products and analytical tools needed by the climate impact research communities. *Explore and address challenges to creating high spatial and temporal resolution data products, with associated uncertainty. *Facilitate collaboration among the statistics, climate modeling, and climate impact communities, and, where appropriate, form working groups on specific topics that will persist beyond the workshop.
