Session Summary:
This series celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Endangered Species
Act of 1973. Speakers will explain the legislation and its
conservation mandate, review the principal causes and patterns of
species endangerment in the United States, and discuss new strategies
to improve conservation and recovery of threatened and endangered species.
