Hello,

Can anybody tell me if they'd had any problems/success with running
graduate level ecology/hydrology programs (i.e. SAS, R+, GIS, etc.) on the
virtual Windows desktop (i.e. running Parallels on Apple)?

My old Macbook recently died and I'm looking to get a new laptop. Although
I prefer the Apple brand and looking to buy a Macbook Air, the higher
priority would be if I could use my personal computer to run, say,
geospatial programs like ArcMap/ArcGIS and statistical programs like R+ or
SAS.

Thanks for your responses ahead of time.
