*Assistant/Associate Professor – Wildlife Ecology and Management* Auburn University’s School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor in the area of Wildlife Ecology and Management. This is a 12-month, tenure-track position, with approximately 60% research and 40% teaching responsibilities. Additional information about the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences and its programs can be found at our website: ( wp.auburn.edu/sfws). *Women and Minorities are Encouraged to Apply* *Responsibilities:* The incumbent is expected to develop a significant research program through active pursuit of extramural funding, recruitment of graduate students, and publications in high-quality refereed journals. The incumbent will also be expected to teach a core undergraduate course in the wildlife science curriculum, develop one graduate course in their area of expertise, and develop one additional course (graduate or undergraduate) to further enhance the wildlife program. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in a team-taught summer practicum for undergraduate wildlife science majors. *Qualifications:* A PhD in Wildlife Ecology, Zoology, Biology or closely related field is required. We seek candidates with research/teaching interests focused on contemporary wildlife conservation/ecology/management issues, preferably in the areas of wildlife-habitat interactions, or landscape/spatial ecology. The incumbent must present evidence of the potential for teaching excellence and a solid record of research productivity that includes publishing in high-quality refereed journals.
