Conservationists, researchers, producers, and any other interested parties are
welcome to attend a
regional forum focused on the ecology and management of medusahead and barb
goat grass on
California rangeland. This event will take place on November 5th from 9 am to 4
pm at the Sierra
Foothill Research & Extension Center in Browns Valley, one of nine centers
under the University of
California's Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCANR).

Information discussed will include:
-how these species spread and establish
-how to apply management techniques safely and effectively
-how ranchers and land managers have experienced the effects of these species
at a ranch scale
