This is mostly for those of you interested in science education. I am looking for a psychological scale called the typical intellectual engagement (TIE). Apparently, it was first described in the reference below. Personality-intelligence relations: Assessment of typical intellectual engagement. Author: Goff, Maynard1; Ackerman, Phillip L.1 U Minnesota, Mineapolis, US Publication info: Journal of Educational Psychology 84(4) (Dec 1992): 537-552. Subsequent researchers have cited it but thus far, I am unable to find says *where* one get the actual instrument. I have looked the coordinates of the original authors with no success.
