NASA captured two nighttime images of the continental US for a natural-light, mosaic view using Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) on the Suomi NPP (National Polar-orbiting Partnership) satellite (http://www.nasa.gov/content/lighting-the-paths-across-the-us/#.UpbJkydoHlc). Will it be any different in 2050?
