Reptile and Amphibian Conservation Biologist
Duties:
The Reptile & Amphibian Conservation Biologist will work for the Natural 
Heritage & Endangered Species Program (NHESP) of the Massachusetts Division of 
Fisheries and Wildlife (DFW) and will lead conservation efforts for 
Massachusetts' reptiles and amphibians with a focus on state and federally 
listed species. The Reptile & Amphibian Conservation Biologist implements 
inventory, research and management programs to conserve the Commonwealth's 
endangered, threatened and special concern reptiles and amphibians, compiles 
and analyzes data on the distribution of the state's herpetofauna, especially 
its rare and endangered species, and provides technical guidance to DFW 
regulatory review staff implementing the Massachusetts Endangered Species Act.
