Graduate Student Research Award

The New England Botanical Club gives annual awards up to $2,000 in support
of botanical research by graduate students. The awards support research on
the New England flora, including visits to the New England region for field
work. Two awards of approximately $1000 each are usually given, although the
actual number and amount of awards depends on the proposals received.

The awards are given to the graduate student(s) submitting the best research
proposal dealing with systematic botany, biosystematics, plant ecology, or
plant conservation biology.
