In case you haven't heard or seen the announcements, a course on invasive plants is taking place entirely online in January. This two-day course led by instructors from across the country will offer participants practical and basic information on the ecology and management of invasive plants. Each day, sessions will take place in real-time using Adobe Connect technology hosted by University of Nebraska-Lincoln EdMedia. As much as possible, this online course will replicate a field course, but more importantly it will provide for those with limited funds or are too busy to travel an opportunity to hear, learn, and engage in discussions about invasive plant species right from their computer. For course details, be sure to visit the NAIPSC website (http://ipscourse.unl.edu).
