Project: Threat assessment and mitigation in fresh water dune landscapes-Pitcher's thistle, invasive plants, and control of biocontrol weevils Limited summer and academic year support for research and graduate teaching assistantships is available to suitable graduate students beginning June 2014 for work on aspects of the ecology and conservation of the federally threatened Pitcher's thistle of Great Lakes shorelines, and its association with biocontrol agents (weevils) of invasive weeds, including population dynamics in the field, plant-insect interactions, insect control, and applications of remote sensing techniques.
