The Mississippi River Research Consortium is soliciting platform and poster 
papers for presentation at the 46th Annual Meeting, April 23-25, 2014. 
Papers are invited on any subject dealing with the biota and environment, 
both terrestrial and aquatic, in and along the Mississippi River and its 
major tributaries.  Dr. Emily Stanley of the University of Wisconsin – 
Madison will be the plenary speaker

ABSTRACTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY FEBRUARY 10, 2014. Instructions for abstract 
preparation and submittal are on page 2 of the attached announcement. 

A preliminary program with registration materials and information on hotel 
accommodations will be emailed during February 2014.  This information will 
also be available on the MRRC webpage at 
http://m-r-r-c.org/.

Students:  As many as six (6) student travel scholarships ($200 each) are 
available for the 2013 conference.  Students interested in competing for one 
of these scholarships should submit a scholarship application, available on 
the MRRC webpage (http://m-r-r-c.org/).
