Greetings,

It's that time of year again. I am working for a tribe in San Diego County
doing land management and endangered species work, so I am looking to gain
some hours this spring for a few species. I will NOT be destroying valuable
habitat. I am working on an HCP and we are putting aside conservation lands,
etc. I also won't be in competition with you for work either, as I am
working for a tribe full-time.

I need survey hours for:
Southwestern Willow Flycatcher
Arroyo Toad
Coastal California Gnatcatcher
Least Bell's Vireo

I am also offering up some of our land and resources to researchers. If you
or someone you know has legitimate research interests in those species or
others found in riparian or upland habitats in southern California, we may
be able to provide you with land and my assistance.

We have done so in the past and would like to continue to partner with
various agencies and students. We have partnered in the past with
researchers looking for rare plants, pond turtles, Lepidopterans, and arroyo
toads. We cannot, however, provide funding. All we also is that your work be
available for our use in our HCP, future planning, and our fights to
preserve wilderness and cultural sites.

If you can help me out with survey hours OR I can help you out with research
lands, drop me a line here or my work e-mail ([email protected]). If you
are interested in the species or land in the area for legitimate research
purposes, either map Pala, California, or drop me a line. For those
interested in the possibility of research, provide me with your
qualifications and a synopsis of what you are doing (graduate work,
government research, etc.) and I will get back to you.

Thanks,

Mr. Kurt Broz
