The Canadian Forest Service is looking to fill a technical computer software
design position to help integrate data and models from diverse aspects of
ecological and related sciences (e.g., fire, disturbance, carbon, forest
succession, genetics, conservation, economics, social dimensions, first
nations, caribou) to enable better development of federal policies related
to Canada's forests. The precise description of the position, along with

Please note the position has some flexibility with location within Canada,
with preferences for Victoria, BC or Ottawa, ON.

The position requires intermediate levels (level B) each for comprehension,
