Hello ECOLOG aquatic ecologists! I am a first year PhD student, and am investigating the relationship between feeding habitat and contaminant burdens in fish. I hope to identify the specific mechanisms of contaminant introduction into food webs (particularly in high elevation/alpine lakes).
So far, I have found some visual trends, but feel more data is required to determine if these trends are significant and justify further study.
