The abstract deadline for the 2014 Research Coordination Network in
Ecoimmunology (RCNE) meeting being held May 8-10 in Woods Hole, MA has been
extended until February 19. If your abstract is accepted, you will also be
eligible to receive a travel award to cover your room and board at Woods Hole.

This NSF supported network was started in 2010 to foster continued
productivity and expansion of the field of ecoimmunology, which is possible
only through the combined efforts of scientists that otherwise may not
interact. More information on the RCNE can be found at ecoimmunology.org

The 2014 meeting of the RCNE is our 5th and last meeting, as our NSF grant
is ending and we are transitioning to the new Division of Ecoimmunology and
Disease Ecology (DEDE) housed with SICB. The next SICB meeting is in West
Palm Beach Florida in the first week of January, 2015.
This meeting will start the evening of Thursday the 8th of May and continue
with two full days of talks, discussions and working groups on the 9th and
10th.
To submit an abstract, please complete our online survey before you
register: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TRLNC9D.
This information is critical to allocating available travel funds and
presentation slots among individuals. Once the survey closes (February 19,
2014) abstracts will be reviewed and you will be notified within a few weeks
whether your abstract has been accepted. Amount of travel support will also
be provided about the same time. Due to limited funds, we can only support
room and board while at Woods Hole for participants that will be presenting
(posters or talks).
If you are not interested in presenting, but would still like to attend the
meeting, please feel free to register immediately. Note that you will need
to cover all of your own costs though.
