The main duties of the post-holder will be to engage in research and produce 
high-quality publications of an international standard. Applications are 
welcome from all areas of physical geography but preference may be given to 
applicants with research expertise in biogeography or biodiversity conservation 
science.

This is a full-time post, based at the School of Geography and the Environment, 
and St Peter's College, Oxford. The appointment will initially be for five 
years at which point, upon completion of a successful review, the post-holder 
will be eligible for reappointment to the retiring age.
