*Assistant Professor in Biology*

*one-year *faculty
position as Assistant Professor to begin in August of 2014.  Candidates
must have a Ph.D. in a field of biology and a strong interest in engaging
students at the undergraduate level.  The person who fills this position
will teach a Biology I Laboratory section for Biology majors and a lecture
and laboratory course for non-science majors in the Fall semester followed
in the Spring semester by an upper-level course with lab for Biology majors
and either a lecture or laboratory section of Biology II.  We are
especially seeking candidates whose expertise would allow the upper-level
course offering to be in an area of organismal or environmental biology.

statement of teaching philosophy, a curriculum vitae, copies of graduate
