Hello all, The Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre (www.bamfieldmsc.com) is running two SCUBA based courses this summer. The first is scientific diving certifying divers to do underwater research through the Canadian Association of Underwater Science (CAUS). The second is subtidal ecology which will build on the skills obtained in the first course or can be taken by undergrads and grad students already certified as scientific divers who want to learn more about conducting underwater research. Each course will run for 3 weeks and provide university credit.
