Are you a mid-career scientist with research relevant to Alaska? Apply for a one month fellowship (SIRF) located in the island community of Sitka, Alaska. Spend time on your own research, writing, or collaboration with a colleague. Each fellow must engage the community and provide local students opportunities to learn about their research and career. Applicants will be selected based on their passion and ability to communicate science to a variety of ages and audiences, research relevance to Alaska, and field of interest. Skaggs Alaska Fellowship award covers travel, living quarters, office space and a stipend. International applicants are welcome, the fellowship is not appropriate for graduate students.
