A research assistant is needed for field work on tick and tick-borne disease ecology in Panama. This project evaluates the potential effects of climate change on tick ecology and distribution across the isthmus of Panama. The assistant position entails helping to collect ticks, set up tick enclosures, and visual inspection of birds for ticks. This is a full-time, full volunteer position, and work would begin immediately and last until July 31. Prior experience in working with arthropods is preferred but not required.
