Greetings All: We are requesting your input and expertise on a research project funded by the U.S. Forest Service, being conducted by investigators at the University of Michigan*.
Find below a link to an important survey to gather your input about the future of forests in the Great Lakes Region. Purpose: We are seeking to understand the opinions of stakeholders and environmental professionals about a broad range of potential factors that may affect the future area of forest or environmental quality of forests in the region. Your responses will be combined with geographic information about the present state of our forests to help managers, scientists, and policy makers anticipate future changes to better understand and manage this valuable resource. Participation in the full survey should take about 15 minutes. We will be collecting data through April 25, 2014. We encourage you to forward this survey link to others who are knowledgeable or passionate about the future of forests in the Great Lakes region.
