Hi Allison,

Try wiping the plastic bag with a wet paper towel.

Let me know if it worked,

Hello ECOLOG!
I am in need of a solution to static electricity for a large number of
samples that at the moment are kept in normal zip-loc bags. Static makes
removal of the sample from the zip-loc bag difficult. It seems that there
are several options and I would like to see if anyone has had experience
dealing with this issue. There is the option of anti-static zip-loc bags to
store future samples, which can be pricey. Also, there are ionizing
anti-static guns, or table-top ionizers.
Any recommendations for what would work best to eliminate static from a
large number of zip-loc bags would be much appreciated!
Thank you,
Allison
