Hello,

I am recruiting volunteers interested in gaining field experience in
stream ecology. I am a graduate student in the Cooperative Fish and Wildlife
Unit at the University of Arkansas investigating the effects of hydrology on
fish morphology. I am looking for volunteers to sample fish this summer (May
–August). We will be sampling multiple streams throughout the Ozark region
of Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

I am looking for undergraduate students, or anyone interested in learning
about Ozark fish fauna, developing identification skills, and acquiring
field sampling skills. Volunteers will aid in netting fish during backpack
electrofishing, setting up seines, and identifying fish. Volunteers must be
willing to work outside in humid conditions and preferably able to commit to
2-3 mornings or afternoons per week.

Those who are interested should contact Lindsey at [email protected].
Please send a statement of interest and a resume/CV.

Thank you,

Lindsey Bruckerhoff
