Announcement : CNRS in France offers a fixed-term contract for a research engineer specialized in integration of scientific instruments. The engineer will work within the technical team of the Ecotron IleDeFrance where he/she will be responsible for supervising the Ecolab equipment and participating in collaborative research projects about soil ecology with the University of Arizona in Tucson (USA). Ecotron is a service platform in experimental ecology located in Saint-Pierre-lès-Nemours, Seine-et-Marne, France. The engineer will oversee the specific equipment and scientific instruments, collection of data and samples, and formatting of data and samples for analyses. An ideal job for a candidate with a doctoral degree or an engineer degree, or equivalent level of experience. Practical experience in soil ecology and isotope techniques desired but not mandatory. One year, renewable contract and remuneration according to experience ranging from 2000 to 2200 net salary.
