The event will be held April 25-27, 2014 in Washington DC at the Walter
E. Washington Convention Center. The "Planet Invertebrata" section will
feature several themes, displays and activities including a live exotic
invertebrate "PETTING ZOO", insects as a sustainable human food source
and EDIBLE INSECTS, ecological services from Invertebrates and
POLLINATORS, marine Invertebrates and FASCINATING CREATURES from the
Ocean, Arts and Crafts and much much more! These hands-on stations will
offer exciting, interactive and engaging experiences for visitors. ISI's
section is being organized in partnership with the Entomological
Foundation and Entomological Society of America and will feature
participants including the Smithsonian Institution, All Things Bugs and
several Universities.
