FMV is looking for interns who are passionate about sustainable development, cultural exchange, permaculture technologies, agroforestry, natural farming and even ideas we havent yet considered. We believe that dedicated and motivated interns can have long term positive effects on the growth and success of the farm as well as our community. In return, interns gain invaluable experience as a part of FMVs journey.
In 2013 our internship projects included a chicken tractor, cob oven, composting toilet, irrigation system improvements and a local market assessment. Interns have used this opportunity to satisfy university requirements, expand their experiences and help with a career change. Internship enrollment is ongoing and projects are individualized based on personal/professional goals and current farm initiatives and projects.
