INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH TEAM FACILITATOR
The National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC), located in Annapolis, Maryland, is a think-tank type research center funded by the National Science Foundation through the University of Maryland. SESYNC promotes interdisciplinary synthesis research on the sustainability of coupled human–natural systems, and is seeking a candidate to provide support and leadership for facilitating research team interactions and progress. The successful candidate will: facilitate and moderate face-to-face meetings of diverse participants in newly formed research teams; support participatory problem identification and the development of strategic approaches to research and solution finding; develop methods to support and advance team science; and contribute to overall Center activities including program management, proposal review, and Center planning.
