Hello prospective employers, My name is Steven Pearce and I have graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) with my B.S. in environmental science. I am currently looking for a job in the environmental field that entails anything from field work to consulting.
I am very flexible with the location of the job but I would prefer to work on the east coast (United States). However, if wanted or needed I am able to move elsewhere. I have been an intern at the UMBC GES department for 6 months now doing mainly ecology field work and helping graduate students with their studies. I have gained a substantial amount of experience with data management, R- software and excel, water sampling (water chemistry), and general ecological experimental design inside and outside of the classroom.
