As part of the 99th Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of
America ( August
10-15, 2014) several universities are working with ESA along with local
institutions and agencies to coordinate a large land planning demonstration
project that celebrates the American River Parkway running through downtown
Sacramento, providing a lasting example of how ecology, urban planning,
floodplain management, and conservation work together to increase urban
resilience and human well-being.

The Earth Stewardship Initiative is currently looking for students or
recent graduates to participate in this exciting demonstration project. This
is a paid research opportunity.

Please visit the website at www.EarthStewardshipESA2014.com
