USEPA’s groundwater research laboratory in Ada, OK (http://www.epa.gov/ada/)
is seeking applicants for a recent graduate in geology or hydrogeology (BS
or MS) to assist in developing conceptual models for Quaternary geology in
basin fill aquifer systems in Washington and Oregon. The work will support
groundwater flow modeling. Therefore, an interest in shallow groundwater,
fluvial geomorphology, and hydrology would be beneficial. The position
involves office work and field work at our study sites. This will be
advertised as a recent graduate or student services contract position. The
salary is based upon a maximum of 1,928 hours per year at $21.40 to $34.59
per hour, depending on education level and experience. The duration will be
one year, with possible extensions, depending on available funding.
