Dear Colleagues, AoB PLANTS is pleased to announce that its first Impact Factor score was released by Thomson Reuters on July 29 in their Journal Citation Report. Our score for 2013 came in at 1.743, which ranks us in the top half of all journals in the plant sciences (72 of 196). Although not entirely satisfied with an Impact Factor score under 2.0, we are off to a strong start and will strive to increase our score in subsequent years.
In existence since 2010, AoB PLANTS (http://aobplants.oxfordjournals.org/) is a non-profit journal published by Oxford University Press. It is indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, has distinguished Advisory and Editorial Boards, employs rigorous double-blind peer evaluation of submitted manuscripts, and renders first decisions in 30-40 days. The journal is committed to publishing influential review articles and special issues on environmental topics, and details about both can be found on our website. All open-access fees for AoB PLANTS have been waived until January 2016, so please send us your work!
