To any biologists with a keen interest in the field of plant response
to climate change:
In addition to sponsoring a Symposium at ESA 2014 ("Plants and
Climate Change: Complexities and Surprises", Wed. 1:30-5pm), the
Annals of Botany Company will be publishing an Annals of Botany
Special Issue on 'Plants and Climate Change' sometime in early 2015.
This will include all the Symposium papers delivered in Sacramento at ESA 2014.
We would like to invite you to submit any studies you have on plants
and climate change to Annals of Botany for inclusion in the Special
Issue. While we will have a focus on surprises and complexities, we
will consider any study on the more general theme of plants and
climate change. To submit, simply select the relevant special issue
option when uploading your manuscript at the AoB online submission
site (http://aob.msubmit.net/cgi-bin/main.plex).
We are targeting a deadline of Nov. 1, 2014 for initial submission,
with the aim of publication in early-mid 2015.
Please contact Camille or myself for any further information and feel
free to circulate the attached flyers to any colleagues who might be
keen to attend and/or contribute to the special issue.
