The Department of Environmental Science and Biology at the College at Brockport, State University of New York, seeks an assistant professor (tenure track, 9-month appointment) for fall 2015. Ph.D. in Limnology or related discipline required; ABD candidates must earn their doctoral degree within 6 months of hire. Candidates with a research background in large lakes limnology and the demonstrated potential to operate a water quality laboratory are especially encouraged to apply. The person who fills this position will teach 18 contact hours per year, including upper division/graduate laboratory courses in Limnology and Water Quality Analysis and specialty courses in areas of interest. An active research program, which includes MS/BS student participation, external funding and peer-reviewed publication, is expected.
