FACULTY POSITION IN BIOEDUCATION
The University of Northern Colorado, School of Biological Sciences, invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure track) or Associate Professor (tenure track or tenure eligible) nine month appointment. Successful candidates will be expected to teach secondary science methods as well as other biology and/or education courses. Preference will be given to candidates with prior K-12 and/or postsecondary teaching experience. Preference will not be given to a particular rank; all applicants will be judged in accordance with their years of experience. Applicants should have a doctorate in biology or science education (or closely related field) with demonstrated experience in biological education research. Successful candidates are expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching, service at the local, state and national level, and to develop an active research program in bioeducation.
