The Galveston Bay Foundation (GBF), is a Houston, Texas non-profit dedicated to preserve, protect, and enhance Galveston Bay, one of the world's most productive estuaries, for the benefit of present users and posterity. GBF's Advocacy team is hiring a full time Water Quality Volunteer Coordinator. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating GBF's Water Monitoring Team and Galveston Bay Action Network. Main duties involve volunteer and laboratory management, training others on basic and local water quality concepts, pollution reporting, writing various forms of media, and data collection and management.
