The Rosenthal lab in the Department of Environmental and Plant Biology at Ohio University, in Athens, OH, is looking for independent, motivated graduate students interested in pursuing an M.S. or PhD in Plant Evolutionary Ecophysiology.
I am particularly interested in applicants with A) a strong foundation in evolution, genetics or breeding and a demonstrated interest in plant physiological ecology or B) a strong foundation in physiological ecology and demonstrated interest in evolutionary processes. The student will be expected to develop a thesis or dissertation that seeks to elucidate physiological, genetic (genomic) mechanisms constraining plant ecophysiological performance and productivity.
