6th World Conference of the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) *Towards Resilient Ecosystems: Restoring the Urban, the Rural and the Wild* Manchester, England, August 23-27, 2015
SER is now receiving proposals for symposia, workshops and pre-conference training courses at its 6th World Conference on Ecological Restoration. This is an opportunity for colleagues to contribute their ideas, experience and expertise to the scientific program by organizing a session, leading an interactive workshop or conducting a training course in conjunction with the conference. The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, December 12, 2014. More information and the online submission form can be found on the SER2015 website: http://www.ser2015.org/call-for-symposia-workshops-and-training-courses If you are not in a position to organize an entire session at the conference, but would like to give an individual presentation, the Call for Abstracts will open on or around* October 31* and will remain open until February 13, 2015. The SER2015 conference will bring together more than 1,000 delegates from around the world interested in the science and practice of ecological restoration, including practitioners, researchers, planners/managers, students and volunteers with backgrounds in earth sciences, landscape architecture, ecological engineering, natural resource management, public policy, economics, indigenous cultures and community-based activities. The 4-day scientific program will feature world-renowned keynote and plenary speakers, thought-provoking symposia, pre-conference training courses, field trips, and a range of concurrent sessions.
