Michigan Tech seeks a committed and visionary academic leader to serve as
provost and vice president for academic affairs. The provost and vice
president for academic affairs is chief academic officer of the university,
responsible for all of Michigan Tech's faculty and academic programs. The
provost will lead efforts to advance the scholarly, research and service
activities of the university and to recruit, develop, and retain a talented
and diverse faculty and staff.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished leader and distinguished
scholar with a record of vigorous support for the integration of education
and research, and an experienced administrator who promotes and exemplifies
excellence in education, research and outreach activities. In addition, the
successful candidate will have demonstrated a commitment to recruiting and
retaining a diverse faculty, staff and student body, to teamwork, and to
creating an inclusive campus and community environment.
