Christi (TAMUCC) invites applications for the Chair of the Department
of Life Sciences (LSCI;

with an outstanding record in research and teaching in the sciences.
The department chair will provide direction, advocacy, oversight, and
management to one of the most diverse and productive academic units
on campus. Applicants must have a PhD in Biology, Biomedical Sciences
or a related field and an academic record of achievement in
scholarship appropriate for appointment with tenure at the rank of
Professor. The incumbent will be expected to maintain externally
funded research and mentor graduate and undergraduate students and
junior faculty in the department. TAMUCC
