The Hurteau Earth Systems Ecology Lab is recruiting 1-2 PhD students to for fall 2015 to work on research focused on better understanding how climate change and disturbance will influence tree species distributions and forest carbon dynamics. We use empirical and simulation experiments to address a range of questions related to this topic. More information about current research projects is available at www.hurteaulab.org.
Qualifications include a BS in ecology, environmental science, forestry, statistics, or another quantitative discipline. Programming experience preferred.
