Infrastructure Engineering Corporation (IEC) seeks mid-level Environmental Specialists (28 years experience) to join our growing environmental division. IECs environmental practice centers on water and wastewater infrastructure projects that the company also plans, designs,and constructs. Responsibilities include preparing environmental documents (NOE, IS, EA, EIR, EIS, permit application materials) and conducting resource agency negotiations for public agency projects throughout California. Position will be based in our Fremont, CA office with some travel.
The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment; has excellent writing and interpersonal skills; possesses at least a BA/BS degree in a relevant field (environmental studies, biology/ecology, earth sciences, political science, or other); and has a strong working knowledge of environmental regulations (CEQA, NEPA, ESA/CESA, CWA, etc.). Entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative mindset are essential.
