The Department of Biology at John Carroll University is accepting applications for funded teaching assistantships in various areas of Biology at the master's level. The Drenovsky research lab anticipates one opening beginning in fall of 2015. Funding includes a full tuition waiver and stipend. Members of the Drenovsky lab ask questions at the plant-soil interface, as related to whole plant nutrient resorption and storage, plant functional traits related to plant invasiveness, and the mineral nutrition and ecology of plants growing on unique soil types (e.g., serpentine and gypsum soils). Recent publications from the Drenovsky lab can be found on Dr. Drenovskys professional website (http://sites.jcu.edu/biology/professor/rebecca-e-drenovsky/). How to Apply: If you are interested in applying, please contact Rebecca Drenovsky ([email protected]) directly by 15 February.
