Registration is now open for the Southeastern Ecology and Evolution Conference (SEEC), which will be hosted at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA this March 13-15!
SEEC is a small regional conference run by students, and for students. It's a relaxed, supportive environment to give your first poster presentation, or practice that talk for the national conference you'll attend later, or see what else is happening in Southeastern Eco/Evo these days. On a budget? It's super cheap-- just $35 registration. Some of the great things in store this year: - Plenary speaker Nalini Nadkarni (check out her TED talks!) If you're interested in creative and effective science outreach, you won't want to miss her seminar - Rapid Research talks (similar to 3-minute thesis) - Biology-themed trivia at Friday night dinner To register, visit our website at seeconference.wordpress.com and click on the registration page. If you're not ready to send in your abstract yet, let us know you're planning to come on Facebook. Questions? Contact us at [email protected] or on Facebook/twitter See you in March!
