My name is Rachel and I am a senior undergraduate at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. I am studying conservation biology and have the opportunity to work with bonobos in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This project is deep in heart of the DR Congo. This area is where 3 large rivers meet: the Tshuapa, the Lomami, and the Lualaba. This region contains a forest that remains ecologically intact, and the project is centered on protecting the area from degeneration. I have been graciously offered an internship working with this project. Duties will include conducting bonobo nest surveys, statistical analysis, and developing my own project. The Tl2 project is making great progress making changes in the DR Congo, and I would love to be a part of it. Please spread the word! You can read more about the project and donate at: https://life.indiegogo.com/fundraisers/wildlife-conservation-in-the-dr-congo Thank you for your support! Rachel L. Brubaker
