and identify important foci for a CSU initiative focused on private lands
conservation. The successful candidate will engage in active discussion
with colleagues at CSU, as well as individuals and organizations in the
broader community of private lands conservation (local to global). The

Applicants should also exhibit a strong record of independent research
leading to peer-reviewed articles in professional journals. Excellent
written and oral communication skills are strongly preferred.

Position Details: The initial appointment will be one year, with the
possibility of extension. The start date is flexible, but the successful
candidate should expect to start no later than September 2015. Compensation
will include a salary between $48,000-60,000/year (commensurate with
experience), benefits and funds for travel and research expenses. Extension
of the appointment will be based on funding and mutual agreement between
the faculty advisory team and the postdoctoral fellow. This position will
be based within the Warner College of Natural Resources (WCNR) at Colorado
State University in Fort Collins, CO. WCNR is one of the largest and most
comprehensive natural resources colleges in the nation, with world-class

ecosystem science and sustainability and geosciences. Fort Collins is a
wonderful community known for biking and breweries in close proximity to
many outdoor recreation opportunities at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.

Reflecting departmental and institutional values, candidates are expected
to have the ability to advance the Department's commitment to diversity and
inclusion.
