Hey there fellow ecologists, I've been measuring environmental temperatures
in a range of urban forest fragments in two cities in New Zealand. This has
been done with ibuttons: thermochron model DS1921G-F5 buried to get soil
temps and hygrochron model DS1923 hanging in radiation shields to get air
temps and relative humidity. My question is this (for all the ibutton nerds
out there)- do I need to calibrate or apply a correction to the data in some
manner? I want to measure differences between sites, so it's vital the
ibuttons are accurate relative to each other. Thanks!
