Join us next Tuesday (July 28) at 3 PM EDT to learn: "How to Make the Most of
ESA's Annual
Meeting"

Attending ESA’s annual meeting can be overwhelming. Whether you are a first
time
conference attendee, returning student, or early career ecologist you will want
to utilize some
of our tips for making the most out of your experience.

In this webinar we will discuss how to prepare for the conference and set
achievable goals, all
without burning yourself out. This webinar will build upon the increasingly
successful Student
Section Special Session ‘How to make the most out of ESA’s annual meeting’
which had over
one hundred attendees last year. Instead of focusing on how to make
introductions, this
webinar will focus on how to prepare for the conference before boarding your
plane, as well
as, setting tangible goals for the conference. The webinar will close with
important
information for how to build and maintain relationships with the contacts
you’ve made during
the annual meeting.

Panelists will include:
  - Dr. Dane Ward, Postdoctoral fellow, Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA)
  - Kate Gallagher, Graduate Student, University of California, Irvine
